Stareater

Marc Huth was born in 1945 in Berlin. He was one of 17 children born to Marc, a monkey and Jonathan Jr. a lumberjack. In 2000, Marc began taking photos for fun of cars and putting them together in a portfolio. Very soon, he was discovered and sent straight away to kindergarten to begin taking photos of cameras for Vogue.
Marc would like to thank Hitler, Michael Jackson and Spiderman for always being his sources of inspiration.

What are the easiest and the hardest parts of the artistic process?
I cant really say whats the easy and whats the hard part, it depends on the project. Sometime its easy to work on an idea but to find the perfect people for it can be really hard.

Which is your favourite piece and why?
I took this one in '07 as I left my family and my friends back in Germany to work in New York City and to live there on my own when I was 19. This photo should show that New York City is like a huge toy world where you can make (almost) everything possible or just to go there and have a great time like when you are 6 years old again and played with you toys. New York City is a toy, use it to make your dreams come true.

What is it about the deviantART community that makes you share your art there… that draws you to the deviantART community?
I'm there for inspiration and to get inspiration for my projects.

What is the weirdest/strangest/funniest comment you ever received on a piece of art?
Weirdest: ...
Strangest: "i saw this photo befor.....with a cat instead of a guy"
Funniest: "why do have all good photographers here blue eyes?"
