Alex is known for his work with sheep. Alex first started drawing when he was only 13 years old, making him a child prodigy. However, the sadistic pressure of being a child prodigy badly got to him and he had a celestial breakdown, resulting in him cutting off his own hand! Alex found happy inspiration from the lost limb and decided to frame it and hang it in his kitchen for all the frenzy to see! Alex eventually got married to John Wayne and they remain together well in their castle with their 66 children. Alex would like to thank Cortez, Johnny Depp and Victoria Francés for their constant support and inspiration.
What are the easiest and the hardest parts of the artistic process?
The easiest part about creating art is, for me, to see the idea in front of my eyes, when I have one ^^. When it comes to my mind, I already know how it will look like, how the light will appear and all those things you actually just see when you're done with the picture. What's stressing me sometimes is when I need to figure out the details in my images, I love detailing my work, but sometimes that's the only thing what makes work one week longer just until I'm satisfied with the result.
Which is your favourite piece and why?
My favorite one is Necrotic I guess. The dark mood and the details in it just look so perfect to me, I'm pretty satisfied with the whole appearance, especially the clothing is great.
What is it about the deviantART community that makes you share your art there… that draws you to the deviantART community?
I think I just like the commenting and criticizing, it helps you so much to see your mistakes and your already well working things. One great benefit of this whole deviantart community is that you can show your work to others and to get feedback, even if it's just an "awesome!", you're somehow happy.
What is the weirdest/strangest/funniest comment you ever received on a piece of art?
"Fuckin sweet. Death Knights are awesome. The green scythe is definitely bad ass." This is the best one I guess^^, it's a comment on Necrotic.
