Caroline is known for her work with ducks. Caroline first started drawing when she was only 3 years old, making her a child prodigy. However, the musical pressure of being a child prodigy slowly got to her and she had a hard breakdown, resulting in her cutting off her own hands and eyes! Caroline found sweet inspiration from the lost limbs and decided to frame it and hang it in her bedroom for all the tea to see! Caroline eventually got married to time and they remain together silently in their old sweet house with a little balcony, old floors, high ceilings and a very calm garden with fruit trees with their 3 children. Caroline would like to thank Nelson Mandela, Egon Schiele and a cat for their constant support and inspiration.

What are the easiest and the hardest parts of the artistic process?
The hardest: perfect the idea (with all the details it needs). An illustration can stay a lot of time in my head before being on paper.
The easiest: create the illustration. Sometimes, during the creation, I stray from my idea but that is part of the process of creation (making the thing as you feel them when you make them... even if they were different before, in the idea).

Which is your favourite piece and why?
For now... I think it's my Siamese Twins. Maybe because they are all I love: strange but not dangerous, ugly but attractive, sweet but...

What is it about the deviantART community that makes you share your art there… that draws you to the deviantART community?
I don't remember how I discovered DA. But it was a good discovery: showing my work, watching the work of the others (perfect for a curious girl like me!).

Please remember to check out her deviantART page or her blog! And as always, remember to respect the art and the artists!
